Anti-Infectives
The primary use of anti-infectives (which include Antimicrobial Agents), is to kill or inhibit the growth of organisms such as bacteria, parasites or fungi, thus limiting infection. Anti-infective agents that are too toxic to be used systemically (such as bleach or antiseptics) are not included in the Medication Guide at this time.
