The riding position of the hybrids suits me more than a mtb but the gen 4,in my opinion ,had less lag once passing the 15.5mph barrier even on knobblies.The mtb riding position I find less comfortable but I’d enquired about changing the handlebar stem and replacing the knobblies for trail biased tyres
