A Layman's Guide to the Health and Nursing Care of Rats
Surgery pictorials are included in the Rat Guide to help familiarize the owners with the procedures that their rats may undergo. They may also be useful to veterinarians unfamiliar with such procedures.
Surgery should only be performed by a qualified veterinarian in a sterile setting. It is not the intent of the Rat Guide team to promote or condone owners practicing surgery on their pet rats.
