Figure 2a: Facial abscess and scab removal in female rat (Dameon).

These photos show a facial abscess that has come to a pinpoint head with scab removal. It was not established if the misalignment of teeth caused the abscess, or if the extent of the abscess caused the teeth to become misaligned.
